Right, i got my superchip the otherday, 2nd hand, and fitted it. All dandy.

Picked up alot better and went that bit more in 5th too. How ever, when sitting at a constant amount off revs, any, like just sitting there at 30 in 3rd, i get i juddering, as if ive got no petrol.

So when i got in a minute ago, i took the chip out, took it for a spin and juddering is gone.

So gotta be something to do with the chip. Any ideas on what it could be?

The only thing i can think of is that when i put it in 1st, i forgot too clean off that gunk stuff on the ecu port. When i was securing it in place i noticed it and clean the stuff off the ecu bit, but theres still some on the superchip. Could it be that thats causing the chip to not make a full connection with the ecu?

Any ideas/suggestions appreciated.

Edit, oh yea, it gets quite hot quicker now as well. Well it did while the chip was in.

Its second hand, got it from happypaul.

Other than that it could be round the wrong way, no thats just stupid lol. It should sit flush with the ecu, and not overhang on the side right.

Hhmm, only got a k + n. Gonna clean the contacts tonight and give it another go.

Its as if its over fueling. It did affect my petrol as well...

Not to sure how im gnna clean em and what with but il give it a good go!

Well i cleaned it and used it tonite, Idles better when still but, still get the juddering.

Started on just under a 1/4 a tank, now just on the red, ive only done about 40 miles. Usually its alot better than that.

Theres no markings on the chip so theres no telling what its deffinatly for.

Any ideas?

i dont think u can do it on this but get it mapped to ur engine!

thats the thing with buying 2nd hand superchips it needs to know ur engine if that makes sense
