A few weeks back I posted a topic in the "Parts Wanted" section about these

Jd said that the mounts that are just simple things and only cost a few quid each. I work in a Motor Factors and our catalogue's list them upto around 1993, but none afterwards.

Been upto 2 Ford dealerships and they both told me that they're no longer available A Mechanic I asked to look at the mounts is also adamant that they're a different type to the normal ones, they have some sort of shim either side he said.

So as you can imagine im a bit consfused. Will the older type fit or not? Just a rectangular piece of rubber with a thread at the top and bottom?

MallardSi seems to be having a similar problem looking at his post, and to make matters worse, according to him the front and rear ones are different! Argh!

Can anyone help?

Yeh they do, the zetec and diesel mounts are different to HCS and CVH ones, like diesel driveshafts are hollow on MK3 Fiestas

Shite though, i fitted the standard mount which were about a fiver a piece and they dont fit on the back mount, you need the bigger ones with the metal shims either side like you said and they are about 15 - 20 a piece
