Not sure if anyone has ever had this.... Pats light on clock....

Done it once and didnt think anything of it but now, its flashing randomly/flickering/staying on all the time while driving. Stays on sometimes when car locked too. Car starts etc runs fine bla bla but i said to my friend jonny... wtf!

I have this now, did you find out what it was?? Mines has run the battery flat overnight too as it started yesterday ok and won't today!!

I also have this problem. I'm convinced it's water / damp getting in to something (it's gone away now we have warmer drier weather).

I suspect the problem area could be near the PATs module itself, but other people have suggested it could be water in the door locks. Does anyone know if the door locks / central locking are connected in to the PATs system on a Mk3 Si ?

Do you have to take the whole dash out to get to the PATs module? It looks that way to me.

You can tear the PATS module out without taking the dash out, but you wouldnt get it back in the cradle in the same place without having the dash out.

It could be water in the doors, the central locking module down in the drivers footwell clicked on mines when it did it so that may tie up!
I took my PATS module out when I scrapped this shell so that I could take my full key and lock set and there was no water damage to the module itself.
