Hiya, I have bought a 1800 silver top from an xr2i & have been told I can use a rs1800 or xr2i engine loom is this true & I have been told if I use a rs1800 ecu it will then have the 130 bap like the rs 1800's do is this true ?

you could use any zetec loom/ecu to run the engine as long as the ecu matches and works on the loom you intend to use

i'm assuming this is going into a mk3 fez? if so id stick to the rs1800/xr2i zetec/16v si looms and ecu combo's

you'd need the cam's and the inlet from an rs1800 if you want to get near the 130 spec

All the same m8, and you mean a erst gearbox? Frst has no lsd and is the same as a 1800.
