Hi guys,

Right got the usual exhaust clamps on my exhaust and its starting to piss me off that they seem to catch every time I go over a speed bump etc, the exhaust itself clears nicely its just the clamp. So have been looking at the Mikalor clamps and they seem to have great reviews, just wondered before I order some if anyone on here has tried them and what they thought?

I have them fitted as old u clamps kept catching when loading trailer and last time ripped exhaust off, they do up well and seem to work as good as any clamps and fairly cheap on eBay

The way I get round that problem is I rotate the clamp to the side so the nut/bolt bit is parallel to the floor, that way the bolts of it don't catch. I've not had many problems are doing that and my car is pretty damn low!

Obviously if the bolts are stupidly long like they are sometimes you'll need to trim them down slightly so they clear the exhaust tunnel but there should be enough room, I can't remember mine being trimmed down too much - unless all the speed bumps have done it for me :lol:

Thanks Danny, think this is what I will most likely do, was only really looking at alternative clamps as one of mine need replacing.

Phil has some spare ones so will be sticking with u clamps and mounting them as suggested 8-)
