i know people say you get what you pay for :blahblah:

but how would these fair up?

the bush on standard rod ends must take a beating when the car is lower, so surely these would be a better bet?

Track rod ends are one of the things that don't get effected that much when you lower the car, the way they wear out of by lateral forces when turning the wheel. But in most cases, its only really the bush that will fail, then that will lead to bearing failure bascially.

Those ebay ones are probably alright to be fair.

Those ones you posted up will probably be fine to be fair.

The bit at the bottom of their page doesn't fill me with great hopes though saying if you want higher quality ones that bascially last more than a couple of months check out their other items. So it could be said these are cheap and nasty. Personally I would just stick with normal standard items, they will probably be cheaper too.

Best bet would be to keep the standard ones, they are probably going to be as strong as you will ever need, and also well projected. They will probably last 5-10 years no problem too if you get a decent make.

Rose jointed bits would be more for a track based car where you are just upgrading all the parts - but to actual decent expensive parts which can take a ton of abuse and never fail on you. Rallying springs to mind with stuff like that, think how much the steering wheel and wheels are moving, and how much abuse bits will get over the course of one stage, let alone 10 or 12 that the car might have to go through on each event. Thats when rose joined parts are needed because standard items would just wear out in no time.

Bit of a ramble there :)

completley get it. thats why getting rose jointed lower arms would be silly, but getting polybushed ones would better (camber adj optional there too!)

Danny, have you not thought of making a few sets up, make some money? id happily pay for camber adj lower arms yano. i know its effort but just a thought :)

Lower arms are slightly different, they take a lot of abuse from the road when you drive the car, the better option would be rose joined ones, but they would be very stiff and could make the car harsh to drive daily, polybushes would give a bit of flex so a softer ride, and still a lot better than standard bushes because they are more than likely never going to fail.

I have yeah, but there isn't enough people interested to be fair, plus its pretty easy to do yourself, once you have got an angle grinder to the bolts and removed them it just requires a load of effort to file the holes. Plus there isn't a huge profit margin unless you want to rip people off, which I don't like doing. Of course I could sell them for loads of money and make a half decent profit, but then they wouldn't sell because people could go out and do them theirself for a lot less.
