in my bros mk2 fiesta we put a 1.4 efi from a mk6 escort and it has a pats ecu and not a reciever.i was just wondering if the 1.4si had the same or do they have a pats reviever

Hi mate,
Fiesta Si is external pats,
The little black box is tucked up behind the glove box
The receiver is around the ignition barrel,

Escort is internal pats and the pats reciever again is around the ignition barrel,
are you using the loom from the escort, ? you'll probably need bits of the internal loom to allow you to connect the pats receiver.
i assume you already have the matching keys to go with the ecu? and the ecu is from the same car as the engine and loom?

yeah we are using the escort loom and ecu and key but we were wondering if we could use the fiesta ecu on the loom as the pats is still running in the car and it being a pain in the ass
