Yo, anyone know why my si is running so rich? Iv replaced the maf, and was running rich after, so u put the de cat on, which I knew wouldnt help but is like sort it out, any ideas? What can I do to sort it? Please help my si, he is a ill

so it was running rich and now you have fitted a new maf to see if it makes a difference? Anyhow check the basics first. have a look at the condition of the wires into the maf. are they broken or do they look like water has got into the terminals? when was the air filter last changed?

what makes you think its rich anyway? has it been on a emmissions tester, my old si smelt like it was running really rich but went through the mot really easy.

The wires are good, got a k&n on it, which iv cleaned. Smells very rich. :(

check your plugs and plug gaps and that there all getting a spark through the revs
