Right, i know how to do this, its just aligning something and getting TDC or what not i have to get before i can get the belt off is whats confusing me.
Someone told me, if you take off the cam cover, at the coilpack end, both the cams should be straight, then you can fit a slotted piece of metal across them to stop them turning.
Okay i thought, off came the cam cover and it looked like this at the coilpack end, both cams were like this :
So a little turn on the camshaft pulley to get them straight and then fit the metal tool which locks the two together?
Then i can loosen off the tensioner, remove the little spring, then remove the old belt, remove the 2 lower jocky wheels, fit the new ones fit the new tensioner and spring , then fit the belt, then finally tighten the tensioner bolt up?
Haynes makes it look like brain surgery, people i know just dont tell me in detail and i cant afford to get it done by someone else
ANy EASY ways of changing a cambelt would be nice if you could tel me how, thanks

(dont worry i didnt have the propper tool 
)a bit one the tine the cams up and ull need to slacken of the cam pullys as well time all the bottem bits up ie the crank slip the belt on the cam pullys check the timing again coz it might ov moved then tighten the cam pullys back up take the chizzel
