now when i went and checked the car out my dad opened the bonnet and its just had an MOT and service so the bonnet must of been opened.
but now i can pull the orange latch down and nothing happens :?
ive fiddle around by the grill to feel around but cant work out how to do it?

can anyone help with this please? :|

is there tenshion on the orange lever if there is then get some one to push down on the bonnet while some one pulls the lever

It's just a barrel type of bolt at the end of the orange latch under the steering wheel, it may have come lose as it happens or it may have snapped. My mk3 did that :?

If the actual wire has come undone somwhere then grab a set of plyers and pull it until it opens. that's what i did. I don't know if this is recommended or not, it may cause more damage or cause the wire to come undone even more. :?

cheers guys, ive got a month warrenty on it so it will be fixed by Ford along with the few bulbs out here and there inside :rolleyes:
