Can I use wd40 to clean the iscv, I know carb cleaner is recommended but isnt wd40 just as good?
Also has anyone got a picture of where I should be spraying, I suppose ill find out when I pull it off but pic would be useful.



Is changing sparkplugs a case of twist old out and new in? Iv got the tool to do it.

Can't remember about the ISCV.

The spark plugs. Tighten them a little bit first before removing, helps stop snapping them. Clean the hole out carefully. On the plug leads, clean the contacts. Tighten the new ones to hand tight plus 90 degrees.

wouldnt think wd40 will be as good really as its more of a lubricant than a solvent cleaner
put a little bit of copper grease on the threads of the spark plugs and dont forget to check the gaps aswell

Carb clearner/brake cleaner will be needed for ISCV mate.

Plugs... just leave 'em out and push your car ;)

Lol I will just role it to the rolling road ha ha

I couldnt be arsed with the iscv as it was hard to get off with other crap in the way and it was getting late but iv done spark plugs, leads and fuel filter and it started ok and runs so I think iv done it right lol.
Im shocked how much fuel that filter held lol.

Yeah sure does hold a fair bit! ISCV is easy to get off if you have a 7mm spanner :D Otherwise you are screwed lol
