I've seen on this forum somewhere about ECU's for zetec conversions, but now cannot find it, so feel free point me in the right direction

currently i have a mk3 fiesta with a 1.4 CVH on carburettor and coilpack (not distributor), and i'm breaking a mk3.5 M reg Fiesta Ghia with the 1.6 zetec in (basically an si but with luxuries). I'm planning on fitting a 1.8 zetec into my mk3 with some parts from the ghia.
Today I've managed to get an ECU with the key, 2.0 litre cams, throttle body, MAF sensor and injector rail from an M reg mk1 Mondeo. The ECU i was hoping to get was either a DEWY, DESK or DEEP, but the ECU that came with the car was a TELL, Can i still use this ECU with the SI/Ghia wirering loom?? would i need to have the key with the PAT's pick up ring to get it to work??
There is a company local to me who can repair and De-code ECU's if i can't use it because of the PAT'S imobiliser.

If anyone could help me out with this i would appreciate that very much

Cheers, Tony

I think the tell ecu is internal pats so won't work with si loom. The deep desk and dewy ecu are external pats so work with a si loom and you can keep the CAR key with those Ecu's the tell ecu would need to have the pats byPassed to work and Possibly alterations to the si loom. Better of getting One of the above ecu that have external pats

You would need to get the pin outs for both ecu's to check the wiring is in the same positions, I have a feeling they may be different
