ok so ECU is currently lose in the passenger footwell but I cant get it to disconnected from the loom help please.

Poor Orange Si is hurt. Started first time after sitting for 3 weeks and with virtually no petrol in it

loosen the cage the ecu normally sits in
push the ecu back into the cage and tighten it back up
then go into the engine bay top passanger side undo the two bolts holding the loom cover inplace.
once disconnected pull the cover out of the way and unscrew the centre bolt in the loom plug and once loose pull the plug off

it was dropped through but as it was the original guru one it was being stubborn.

got it now and the deep one is in place.

now time to test....

yes we are sorted

idle is 100x better. the ECU is still learning as it's never been in a car but the power is lovely.
