What belt to you need on the 2L? is the the 1.6 or 2.0 belt?

or are they the same?

i also need to know for power steering :doh:

i too think there the same cause the waterpump and pulley can be put on a 2.0 from 1.6.

you need a fiesta belt. if you are ordering a 2.0 belt i will be the wrong one as mondeo 2.0's alternators are mounted at the back of the engine!

just order a new standard fiesta one with your reg that will be fine enough. also best to order from ford as they would last longer!

when jam and i did a conversion i got hold of an RS1800 alt belt with pas! or just get a fez Si belt ;)

only belt thats you'd need from the 2.0 is iirc the cam belt, rest is all fez stuff, once the cam belt is done, i'd now treat it a 1.6 engine, ignore the fact its a 2.0(dont really but you get the way i'm going?) and just start putting bits on from a fez :D
