Hi all,

Ok, I've got some 15" alloys with 195/45 tyres on and they are rubbing on full lock on both sides. I'm sure they are ET38 but would need to check to be sure.
I've put some 3mm spacers on but they are still rubbing.

Can someone shed some light on what they have and if a bit of rubbing is the price to pay?

Secondly, when Im driving on part throttle, mostly around 3k rpm I get a bit of hesitation and a stutter like its missing a bit but as soon as I accelerate its fine. No problems starting or pulling away, just on part throttle hot or cold. Any ideas?

My old Si did as well with the same size wheels.
But only on full lock.

i had 195/15/15's on and they rubbed on full lock, i changed to 40's on the front as needed new tyres and they were cheaper at the time and they still rub a bit on full lock but only a tiny bit.

As its only on full lock i would just live with it, but when you need new tyres in the future then maybe go for 40's?

that hesitation check your spark plugs. had the same thing. i noticed 2 of the plug gaps were a bit short and one of the plugs had a small crack init. sorted the problem and ran with no probs'
