my brake pedal on my Si is not returning all the way up leaving the brakes slightly on. there is plenty meat on the pads and fluid but there is a funny noise coming from behind the pedals. i sprayed wd40 on the linkage but is still sticking. could it be the internals of the servo ?

usually if its the servo the brake pedal goes rock hard after one press of the pedal. it could be the link rod from the pedal to the servo in the engine bay.
