well i started my car earlier and it was struggling to idle and the battery light was when but then i give it a little poke on the throttle and the battery light went out and it was idling fine. so my intial thoughts are that the batery is duff as theres a near new alternator on it checked the water levels on the battery and there fine. any ways to pinpoint its the battery?
