Im currently doing a 2 litre conversion on my 1.6Si. I have the engine in but when i turn the key I get ignition but no fuel pump prime, like when you hear it before you start the car. I have given it a direct feed of 12volts and it primes the lines and the car will start and run but not idle, it just cuts out straight away. Im wondering could it be anything to do with the pats system? any help is appreciated! thanks!

didnt think its connected to the air bag, have you had the same set up ECU, keys ect running another 2litre? think the LED is ment to flash differently if PATS not signalling/accepting key ok, is the fuel pump relay working? i dont know if its a straight plug and play with a existing Si loom but seen mention of having to swap a couple of connections if using a cvh loom.
