I recently just joined the forum and was told to post in here as my car isnt running right. The rev counter, interior light and the horn only work occasionally and have no idea why, could they all be linked? Also the car keeps stalling, it isnt because it is cold as it does it at the end of a jornuary as well, it recently had a new clutch fitted so it isnt that.

The fuel economy is bad too but my bf is gonna fit an original air box and change the fuel filter.

for it cutting out check the maf sensor, alot of people on here have this problem, some of the wires to it could be abit nakard.

does it tend to stall when coming to a stop at junctions etc? f so i'd whip the iscv(idle speed control valve) off and give it a clean with brake cleaner

not sure on the rev counter, could be a damaged wire on the coil pack or the rev counter part of your clocks might be on the blink!

not a clue about the horn , wiring? fuse?

fuel economy could be down to a duff lambda sensor which also could be the cause of the stalling

have you got access to a diagnostics machine?

wow thanks for all ur help will let u know how i get on will ask my bf if he can get a diagnostics machine and yes stalls wen i come to junction.

my first port of call would be to give the iscv a quick clean up as its free , unless you have to buy some carb cleaner

but before you start buying parts to solve the issue i'd deffo get it hooked up and get it checked out

any sensors that are down it'll pick them up and help you narrow down the fault
