hi all my passenger door handle does not open the door
and my lock only lockes it but not opens it :doh:

Sounds like the linkage inside has come loose for the opening of it, and as for only locking it, could be something to do with the barrel. Once you play around with the linkages, you might see its loose or something... never know lol

Isnt the linkage all in behind the door card? Just a guess

but thats where the handle is so makes sense..

Yeah sure is, just take the door card off, and the plastic cover, and if yours has a protector thingy majig over the lock/barrel, take it off - kinda hard, but i use a razor blade or something and slice the black glue. Then its all there pretty much. Shouldnt take more than an hour to do it all, most of the time is spent getting the damn protector cover thing off... its REALLY glued on there, just to let you know lol.

my handle broke on my drivers sign, the part of the handle that the metal piece loops through broke off so i just got a new handle from scrappy, it was a pain because my passenger side is delocked so i couldnt unlock to open it as whether i unlocked the drivers side or not i couldnt open the handle to get it . . . . and the boot is smoothed off, quite a funny situation lol
