Right i've made a right mess of selling the Probe...
Well i lie, the 'sale' went well. Infact i was thinking this is my lucky day (got £650).
Only problem is, the guy took the car with the key i had put in it. So he now has driven off with House keys and Fiesta keys. Luckily I have spare 'red' fiesta key.
I've tried ringing the guy continually today and he isn't answering..... I'm suprised he didn't notice he had my keys either, first thing you notice when turning the ignition. Anyway, problem is (house keys aside) He could essentially turn up one day and take the Fiesta- it's parked on the road.

What would you do? New locks, not bother?
- Central locking currently isn't working anyway
- I quite fancy Remote central locking too...

So i was thinking of new locks/keys and possibly sorting the above.

What do you think? I wouldn't fancy doing it myself....and I don't understand how PATS would implicate on this.
If there is an easier way to sort this let me know, my priority is not getting it nicked!!!
I don't mind spending abit of money but anything over £200 is perhaps pointless.

keep ringing him and possibly alert police just incase the worst happens. do you not know where the guy lives and did he seem dodgy on face value, if its a middle aged man with wife and kids i think your safe. its seems a dear do to replace everything if you do eventually get hold of him, try hiding your number when you call him.

Well thankfully he's emailed me back tonight (i find it strange it's took so long, he must have known i was pooing my pants about it). Anyway, he's sending keys via royal mail recorded to my missus' mums address.
So all I've done is changed a Yale lock barrel (£15 B&Q) and all keys for Fiesta will be back so winner!!!

And you better hope he's not a devious bastard and been down to the local locksmith to get a copy of your fiesta key and house key done and comes back around!!
