For the people who dont no i have a Y reg silver ka collection, 30.000 miles on the clock and has just passed its m.o.t!

When i break to a stop or slow down to turn a corner the handbreak night shows up on the dashboard, and no the handbreak isnt on

Ive checked the break fluid and that is fine, could it be the handbreak light senser? or something a bit more technical?

check that the handbrake cable is tight enough but not too tight, we have a peugoet partner at work with a similar problem but it had it tightened and it was fine.

if you put your hand on the hand brake lever and push it down does it stop it coming on? and does it come a long way up when on, if so as said above could need adjusting a bit so when off its not so slack, or check switch not loose

When you pull you pull your handbrake up (whilst stationary, of course) does the foot brake appear to go slack??
