Dead battery. How old is yours?

i would say the battery is even worse than mine and completely nakard, when you put the ignition on does all the instruments light up like normal?

i have took it to kwik fit and they said the battery is over charged alternator is fine but also sometimes when i driving the stereo turns it self off then on again (when turned up)

also popped into my mothers the other day and left the car ticking over as it woundnt start if i turned it off so turned lights off and left it there came out ten mins later got in reversed back a bit turned my lights on and went to go forward but the car wanted to burr out so turned lights off and it would drive ok so had to pull away with lights off then once i was moving i would turn lights on then come to the end of the road i had to turn lights back off again to pull away then put lights back on but hasnt done it since

what are the connections to and from the battery like?

terminals are fine all connected properly

hmm, it sounds as though there is power there but not enough of it, as though the wires aint strong enough to supply it. are the right fuses in the right places?

hi all fuses are fine i tryed sticking my jump lead straight to the starter motor earlier to see what that would do but nothing happened it still the same

but if kwik fit said my battery is over charged then why would it start by jumping (2 batterys) surely the 1 battery is enough if it over charged they say it is the starter motor but why would it need 2 batterys to start it

im clueless, I wouldnt trust kwikfit, too expensive.
