Hey guys, trying to drop down my ECU to connect my Mk5 clocks to, as it's far easier to just tap off the ECU loom than try and get a wire down to the gearbox...and although I've done it before, it was over a year ago, so how do you go about getting at that ECU? I can feel it but that's about it

have you undone the two bolts from under the bonnet where the loom rubber cover goes over it.

That'll be what I've missed! Is it there where the loom plug connects into it then? I don't actually need to remove the ECU, just need to get to the plug to splice a wire in :)
