only just recently purchased the car and not sure how to remove the standard stereo tape player. i had a peugeout before and used special tools. any help please?

is it the standard ford radio mate? if it is then nip in to your local halfords/motorworld or something then purchase some ford radio pins. there should be two holes on wither side of the unit and you push the pins into these.

slightly pull the pins outward (right hand side one to the right, left to the left) and then pull.

if its an aftermarket radio then there should be some pins to remove it aswell that you can get.

Sod buying the pins, just get some thin, precision screwdrivers in the holes to pop it out

Although, Stunning's suggestion is cheap enough. But I done mine without any specific tool.

Or use an angle grinder, always worked when i cant undo/remove things.

will i need an iso harness for my upmarket stereo once default standard has been removed

had a 1.5 diesel before peugeot 106
this is soooo much better
