Hey peeps

want to run this past ya all see what ya think

my mums si starts but when running it needs the accelerator pedal constantly putting fuel in ie in use in order for it not to stall

an example

She is driving along in gear and not stopping like on a dual carriageway or a motorway or some normal roads with the clutch up and the car in gear constantly

However, when she dips the clutch to stop and the engine goes back to idle it stalls

Is this the ISCV?

If not what do you guys reckon it is? :S

i had a similar thing on my Si moleman, as soon as my rev dropped below a certain number it would cut out/stall

i limped it home and replaced the lambda sensor and that seemed to sort the issue!

other than that i'd say either iscv or tps

if it cuts out round junctions id say as terry said
