Hi Guys and Girls

As previoulsy posted before i intended to put a 2.0 mondeo engine in my fez, having thought she needed a new lease of life under the bonnet.

I have a r reg Mondeo which is a zetec series 2 if i'm right, I have collected a manual 2.0 ecu, as the donor car is an auto and it has 4 rows of pins not 3 as per the Mk3 fiesta.

Seems i have made life complicated, but i have saved the plug from the donor ecu car. Looks like i'm gonna be doing some soldering!!

Is there anyhting more i should be watching out for. Can someone please confirm the two engines are interchangable?

All you need to do is use the Fiesta Si Zetec wiring loom. And either DESK DEWY or DEEP mondeo ecu's and thats it. No messing about.

Series 2 zetec will not fit directly my friend.

Define not fit directly, and piss easy??

I'm guessing i should have stuck with an older mondeo then ;-(

Oh well. So what have i gone and done then? Will the 1.6 sump, oil pick up pipe, etc etc etc still be transferrable into the 2.0 to make things fit as per the DIY guides??
