ive just put a 1.8 zetec in my Si with 2L cams (was a 1.6)

the car started fine when was all together but we didnt run for long. now after doing other little bits like make sure the decat was bolted in properly it now wont idle, it will fire up and either cut straight out or idle very rough!

i havent yet got a 2L maf, ecu or injectors but it should atleast idle with the 1.6 stuff shouldnt it?

any ideas?

Your problem will be using the 1.6 bits like maf injectors etc, you would be leaning the engine out anyway trying to start it up like that mate
