if it was a mondeo then its drivers side footwell sort of behind the dash

i cant really get at it to see it... so i dunno what type of ECU it is... should it say on the maf?!
or to see if its chipped etc

wont say what type of ecu it is on the MAF

if you look under glove box you'll see it and see the diag port on it( black recangle thing) it says what typw of ecu it is( DEEP,DESK, DEWY) on that and if its chipped iirc thats where the chip is plugged in as well

ok there is something coming out of it so it is chippedd.....but i cant see it dont say ...deep desk dewy or nout.. its in a b*stard of a place to see haha .... hmmmmm i think he told me desk....but i want to make sure..

the only other way to see what ecu you have is to remove it, as near the plug end it'll have the name of what it is

you might be able to see wha it is by moving the rubber sock/housing from in the engine bay on the passenger side

if not taking the ecu out isn't a hard job

difference between the deep, desk and dewy ecu is the different years i think, apparently DEEP is the best one to go for... not sure why lol

glad i got a DEEP one anyways lol.
