whats the diameter of an si exhaust? im looking at different back box options for my car and im need the internal bore of the exhaust to work out which box i need.

its not a massive importance due to having reducer pipes made up for the exhuast... so it can fit more cars

i looking at fitting a custom bike can and the guy needs the diameter of the pipe, my exhaust is a custom powerflow item and i dont trust the sizes, its going to be a high performance system so i need the performance exhaust pipe sizes.

..for reference, easy to measure:

Get a bit of string and get your arse under the car.

Rap the string around the pipe and take note of the distance .....lets say, for arguements sake it comes out at 6.3 inches.


then simply divide by pi (3.14159....)

therefore, for this example the diameter would be a fraction over 2 inches.

Difference between ID, and OD would be minimal to the point of, if you get 2.1 as you're OD, assume your ID (internal diameter) to be 2

i would measure mine but its a custom job and i dont trust the measurements.
and a bkie can because it different, and ive seen it done on a track day saxo vts and it sounded amazing
