Nope not an option, needs to have a temporary fix until the MOT runs out, but thanks for your suggestion. I have a good idea in my head how to sort it but just wondered if its happed to anyone else on here

If that f*cks up and makes you crash, you or somebody else can be seriously hurt or killed. Get rid. If its that rusty there, then the rest must be nackered.

How long is left on the MOT?

Infact dosen't matter as even if its one month, no way has that happened in 12 months, *thumbs up* to that MOT'er!

Yep, it runs out end of december I suspected it was a dodgy MOT as theres lots of things wrong with it. I guess I'll fix it & drive it till then and then sell it as parts or as a whole.

i remember at the rr day this year tommys old si was pretty rotten around that area, would cost mega bucks to be repaired professionally, i'd weigh it in asap i wouldn't risk it...lifes too good

just so you know, now that you have posted pics of this car on the net, if you dont fix it properly and it does fail then cause a crash, kill someone etc and this is found then the pics are found you will be held liable regardless of it having an mot or not.
depending on the outcome of the crash you will be either heaviuly fined and licience taken away for a few years or lets say you at the least break someones leg you WILL do jail time for it. that car should be taken off the road NOW,
if you drive it without fixing it properly (yes that means all rust cut out and new turret welded in by a prfesional welder not soemone who thinks they can weld plates)
then in short your a twat with no regards to other people or their lives. hope you die soon and take no one else with you.
the above is if you dont either have it repaired properly or you dont scrap the vehicle, fix it i have no problem with you.
