have u had the timing checked m8 it could of jumped a tooth

also changing sensors m8 your best bet is just to get it plugged in for fault codes changing sensors might not cure it
and could be a waste of money

have u also checked for exhaust leaks check the manifold gasket and the o ring on the down pipe and check all the exhast system also check for vacuum leaks at the inlet manifold and make sure your oil does not look like mayo

hope this helps m8 and also spray some wd40 on all the electrical contacts

If I'm getting good, prob too good mpg, maybe its running lean. Just took it for a run out with the maf unplugged. Did seem better but still not great. Going to check for leaks inlet side if it every stops raining. Thanx for the replys boys.

Just an update, will get the cat taken out and bypassed at the end of the month. Put my old maf sensor in last night and went for a burn. Had a run down a big hill and really caned it, even tho it wen flat I kept my foot flat to the floor and it revved through it and got it up to 5k in 3rd, shock horror!!! How ever going up the other side of the hill was flat as a fart again. God I love my car

drop a fiesta turbo lump in there that should cure your good mpg and you lack of torque / power

no problem on a serious note the 1400cvh isn't really a good engine and the efi isn't the best system for sorting faults

hence my new engine in the garage waiting to go in, 1.4 si still pulls better than the shitty 1.2 corsa im using at the moment!!!!
