about 3 weeks ago my clutch cable snapped on the motorway which was a score! the rac bloke came and fitted me a new one.

now 50/50 when I lift the clutch pedal up it clicks.
sometimes it does feel different, the bitting point is mroe of an on and off switch, and otehr times its fine, is it the clutch pedal or???

the clutch ratchett might be playing up

ok, how much is it to fix this? will it get worse if it just leave it?

sounds like it needs to be re-adjusted to me, have you got a haynes manual? if so give it a go yourself as it should be in there how to re-adjust it

other wise you'll have to go to a garage and i'm not sure what the charge is to fix it

It has not got a little white knob/button underneath the so I assume it is automatic? i dont really care that it makes the clicking noise i jsut dont want the cable to snap again, cant go through the same S**** again it was a magor hassle, is the fiesta SI clutch to heavy or soemthing?

yeh your guide is for manual clutch adjustment, I have automatic since i dont have a little white screw underneath, i might just go to garage and say plz just fix my F**** clutch cable pedal etc... plz

u will need a new racket mate they wear after time... and your car wll go through cables like there going out of fashion probs can get one fitted for around 80-100 ive heard its a rite pig of a job tho
