my n reg fiesta si 1600 16v has been squeeking for a while now when i start it and drive it, the belt dont look worn and it is nice and tight does any one else no what to do beause it is p**sing me off now cheers

check the power steering fluid? mine got noisy and i found that was the problem :)

quite an easy fix...may not be the belt...check for any small cracks across the belt..it may be the tensioner pulley...just a suggestion

My tensioner pulley squeeked until I changed it so worth a look to see if there is
play in the bearing or cracks etc.

Belt is a 1 minute job, just one spanner to slack the tensioner and off it comes.
