hi , after my pistion rings let go i put my engine and box back in but now i pressed the clutch down to self adjust and the thing went right to the floor , i try playin with the little white screw thingy but no luck , i have to unclip the clutch cable to get the pedal back up ? but then i have the same prob? :(

any help needed thanks

is it the automatic adjuster type clutch peddle? if so is pushing the clutch pedal down actually moving the cable and lever on the gear box, if not could just be the automatic adjuster not latching, try lifting the pedal up as far as it will come and checking the quadrant latches before pushing it down.
if the cable is moving the lever on the top of the gearbox when pedal pushed down could be thrust bearing sticking on shaft hopefully its not a problem or its a gearbox out again!

Ps wheres the little white screw thingy?
