Ello again,

Been cleaning my T3 turbo up and what not, as I have got an urge on my ZT project again.. going to get a new actuator as I dont trust the look of the one I have lol

Have also realised that this T3 is a water cooled one also, so will have to block that off as I wont be using the water cooling on it

So after reading up on stuff I have pinpointed the usual things, oil in, oil return, water in/out

But I dont understand how to set up the boost stuff...

Do I just plump a pipe from the actuator straight to the compressor housing as I show in this picture? Then I control the boost via the actuator rod (this is not mine btw)

also, how do I plumb in a boost gauge on a zt?
while I'm at it, how do I plumb in a gauge for the air temp?

i think for the boost control paul as you so i think it can go straight to the actuator then use the rod to control the boost or plump the pipe from the compressor housing to a bleed valve then to the actuator :? , i think thats how they work


as for the boost gauge i'm not entirely sure on that

edit:- from doing some reading i think you put a T piece in the hose that run's the the MAP sensor :? then run a hose into the car and connect it up the the gauge

pm boost mad, he might be able to ;)

i cant remember what the turns are on the rod now, but dont go too mad and do lots of turns

i have a bleed valve (not everyones favourites) stuck in the middle of the pipe from actuator>housing and im on 10psi. i dont touch this though

my boost guage is plumbed in at the inlet side of things. dont know if there are other ways that work too
