1.6 dead! 2.0 finished today! 3/11 lowered G max, 15" Escort GTi, K&N Induction kit, piper back box!

they are binding by the sounds of it, could be the seal that returns the
piston in the caliper. common fault on some cars, i'd just try and
pick up a caliper from a scrapie rather than messing about if i were
you.

A common fault i have found on Escorts is that the brake flexi blocks up so before you go buying a new caliper unbolt the flexy and try pushing the piston back into the caliper, if that goes back in then there is not a problem with the caliper and you then need to move back up the pipework right back to the Master Cylinder.
