i thought i'd start a thread for gamers, as im a gamer/geek and i know others are to.

am i the only one who gets excited by these things?

should be doing my degree work but i cant be bothered, i even sent the ps3 to a mates for a month or two for minimal distraction. didnt last long, went to ebay and got this for a tenner (plus £15 p&p) its my 3rd saturn, i love sega's. :homo:

its like being 13 again!

Panzer Dragoon Orta (Xbox)
Gregory Horror show (PS2, can't recommend enough)

I remember that game, used to play it on a mate's 386 :lol:

On that Tandy though, the game I played the most was called Shock Trooper! It was fooking ace!

First "room":

Had to destroy the control machine to disable the forcefield stopping your progress, then kill the other gun at the bottom!

Second "room":

You had control of the lift you're on and had to dodge that bullet which bounced off the metal on the left wall :D Timing had to be spot on!

Random:

You had to rescue all the blokes in here! That thing at the top in the middle was a bug thing that came down and would kill you or kill them other blokies.

Finally, the MENU SCREEN!!

As you can see, you could actually choose your colour scheme!! Hence the different coloured pictures. :lol:

(Edit: I did put IMG tags on the pics but they're protected :rolleyes:

But I tell you what, this game was so much better than some of the tat that's out now. I tell ya. Graphics obviously crap, but it was a tough game, and required a bit of brain power aswell! :D Love it!

I'm getting all teary eyed now thinking about it :cry: :lol:
