Last week me and mark went out for a drive in my car and i asked mark to drive my car while i stood and listened. 8-)

So went to a back road where no one goes down in a Industrial estate, mark got in and i did tell him to give it some and not fanny about (he did when he drove the Si) and he did give it some, even found the limiter a few times.

But i loved it as you don't really get to hear what your car sounds like from inside and i loved it, sounded so much nicer than i ever thought, made me smile. Plus i think Mark enjoyed raping the Rallye.

So all in all get someone to drive your car while you listen so you can appreciate the sound it makes! 8-)

now i dont have my stainless system on it sounds like any normal si :lol:

but yeah i know what you mean, it is nice to hear your car from the out side once in a while

only time i have heard my car being driven by someone else was at the RR day :cry:

My mate drove my RS1800 after we put the engine in, and it sounded loud, and rough due to the nackered CAT

But when I'm inside it I don't mind it, others claim its loud tho, I don't see how, its only a magnex cat back system lol

I'm the same as you Des, very protective over my car, but that's because i'm not really a trusting person.
When he 1st let me drive his Si I was too worried about breaking it, or stalling it, and i'm not keen on the idea of someone ragging my car so I wouldn't do it to them. But he told me off for not giving it any!!
It's loads quicker off the line than mine, I weren't expecting it to go like that (thought it would have no torque) and the only reason it touched the limiter was that I haven't driven for a month and yours goes through your gears quicker than mine.

Does sound very nice, couldn't get the art of getting it to pop tho

If i can't break the thing i don't think your pussy driving would!

I wanted you to give it some as thats what i drive it like so i wanted to hear what its like when i drive it! Plus you don't get the full experence of the Car unless you drive it to its max!

When i was younger i let a so called mate have a go on my 50cc scooter as i fitted a new sports exhaust, he came round the corner fell off and the bike flipped about 10 times, totally trashed it and he never paid me a penny :cry:

Never again, i never let anyone drive my car's or van etc

I think everyone drove my fiesta. Scott's driven my GTi, along with my brother, 2 other friends. I keep daring Fi to drive it but she doesn't dare :lol:
