Leaving in a minute to go collect it. ![]() Its blue, 90,000 miles, mechanically very good, drives in a straight line, has rust on three of the four wheelarches, a hole in the drivers seat, has the red master key and best of all cost peanuts to buy and insure. It will I'm sure be a fine steed to see me through the winter and the day I buy a 3.0 Capri (thats the plan anyway). Steering wheel is a bit odd though, nice thick rim but kind of soft and spongy ![]() |

Well I've got it home and after a 30 mile scoot down the motorway I can say it drives 100%, nice strong engine etc. The rust however is about a million times worse than I remember, it needs new panels really but I'm not going to bother as I only need the car to last me till february. A new experience for me was that the engine chuntered and stuttered for about 5 seconds after I took the key out of the ignition instead of turning off straight away. ![]() Still, what can you expect for a car that cost half a weeks wages? ![]() |

As you're going for the drop it route, don't forget to break it and sell parts on here! |

Yeah you'd get more money breaking it for spares and selling the parts cheaply on here (I can try can't I? Lol!) |
