Thought this might be a bit interesting

We all know that each of us are into cars, it's why we know each other. So that's obviously considered a hobby (well, more like a lifestyle :lol:

), but what other things are you lot into? What things completely detached from cars do you consider a hobby?

For me, one of my hobbies are the reptiles, otherwise known as herpatology. I'm not massively into the scientific names of reptiles and the absolute history of everything, but I look after mine and enjoy them!

I also play guitar, although I haven't picked mine up for a while. So better get some practice in again soon :lol:

And I'm massively interested in astronomy. Love watching tv programs about it, reading up on what we know about space, planets, stars etc. At the mo on BBC2 Sunday nights at 9 is Brian Cox's Wonders of the Universe. Awesome show! Give it a go and be amazed at exactly what is out there.

Got a PS3 I enjoy playing every now and then, so guess you could class that as a hobby.

What about you guys? Need something away from cars for your own sanity if you have nothing else! :lol:

I too am into my reptiles particularly my med tortoises and have had a chilly Rose spider before aswell. Also into IT, was a hobby now it's part of my job so not sure it counts as a hobby any more. Lots more things I'd like to do or take up but family life sort of restricts that

used to keep pirahnas had 3 tanks at one point with different breeds in also into scuba diving qualified to advanced diver dived all over the world cyprus america maldives where i dived with hammerhead sharks and sharm el sheikh in june also enjoy reading lol

i have loads of hobbies but funds cant keep up :lolz:

i enjoy nitro buggy racing 1/8th scale

i love fish tanks and fishing (anything to do with fish really just not with chips :lolz:

)

i have a tank with piranha and a arowana

i have had reptiles before ie.royal python/charmeleons etc

but fish tanks are probaly my biggest hobby :thumbsup:

Well.. Moving away from reptiles (although my friend had a chameleon and if it weren't for the 15 min trip to the shop once a week I might have got one!)

Playstation for when I have a free evening mainly. I have a guitar sat next to me, i've played for a couple years, but due to work I haven't really touched it in a while

I picked it up a couple weeks ago and I can still play the same but just never really think to play.

It's quite bad really but because I work so much I don't really have anything but playstation and cars! Other than that on my days off I travel to pompey to see the misses or I might go play snooker with a friend.

cars are a big hobby of mine, other than that though its mainly

graffiti
playstation
any sort of sport, rugby or footballetc
does the pub with mates count? :lol:

been keeping tropical fish for about 14 years now. My paired blood red parrot fish recently laid eggs but they never hatch

I enjoy walking and also cycling (just got back from a 32 mile bike ride today actually :lol:

)

Also play the guitar off and on, used to be in a band aswell

i used to have a red parrot years ago and would lay little eggs all over my stones then would protect them but only had the 1 so eventually the eggs just got eaten :doh:

I seem to mess with all sorts of technology, building/overclocking PCs, modding/fixing games consoles.

I have noticed I do something just because I can (Eg running a playstation emulator on a 360).

i spend a lot of time with my fiancee but when i do get sme free time apart from sorting the fiestas i may play on the xbox and watch documentries dvds as im really interested in the world and really like watching dvds about different cultures, and ways of life and transport methods from around the world like charlie boorman by anymeans of travel and long way round and long way down, and of course reading fast ford mags

My main hobbies and interests are your mum.

On a more serious note, lol, they are things like photography - thats one of my main ones

cycling/mountain biking... on a nice day i could spend all of it just ripping up the forests and what not, also finding jumps and obsticles on my bike to throw myself off is my idea of fun too sometimes lol.

eating (yep thats a hobby, especially when your fat :lol:

)

cars, motorbikes - esepcially motorsport events like rallying, le mans, moto gp, superbikes ect ect

anything to do with astronomy

watching anything on tv to do with history of the world - ie world wars and things, natural events of the world, watching stuff to do with exploration and that too.

playing guitar

gaming - being it ps3 or pc, on the subject of computers, i like building them too.

r/c cars

building models of things - cars, planes, helicopters, tanks.. you name it.

horses - yep strange one to some people, but i used to have a horse. not so much of a hobby these days, but used to be.

football + rugby - mainly watching, although its not something im massively into as such.

i like going new places and exploring... is that a hobby? travelling... suppose it is.

im sure there are loads more, but i cant think straight, so that will do for now
