Hi, I have been lurking around here for quite a while and thought I should introduce myself.

My name is Andy and I have been interested in ford pretty much all my life which is why when I came to get my first car it had to be a fiesta. The car is a silver, K reg 1.3 sx 3 door that has started to rust quite badly after the winter around all the usual places. :sigh:

I will get some pics up when I can find a camera.

cheshire mate, i was under the car today and it looks like it's mainly surface rusy which is nice the main bits are really the fuel filler cap surround and the front jacking points near the lower arms.

i plan to keep it and have a bit of a play with it when i get more money coming in :devil:

tbh i dont know how rare it is, i think it's a sx because thats what the bloke who sold it to me said it was and there is still a bit of a mark you can see on the boot where a badge used to be.

oh and i forgot it's kinda two tone silver/ gray but the bottom is done in house paint i think.

Onslack i love your saph, i read your thread all in one go once at night and i was totally taken in when you said you were breaking it :( :doh:

well i have read that the only way to get anything from the hcs is to give it a good service and check the gaps between the rockers and the valves.
