well fiesta's are usually a good bet

1.1 , 1.3 etc not a 2i or RST :lol:

depends which way you want to go

do a few quotes for a 1.4si, even the 1.6. you might be suprised, sometimes comes out ok. if not we can always go and buy that mk2 we saw :thumbsup:

I could insure a mk4 fiesta 1.4 (faster than a 1.6 Si I'll have you know

as tested many times) OR a clio 16v for the same money when I passed. :lol:

I picked the slower but more reliable of the 2. I wish I wasn't so closed minded when I bought my first real car, could of gone for so much more.

and its because bracknall is a chavvy area :halo:

i never had that much trouble, i was paying Â£1200 on a 1.3 mk3 fiesta with 34k on the clock and the following declared:

* 14" Si Alloys
* Xr2i Arches and skirts
* SI Bumpers
* Lowered 35mm on Gmax shocks and springs
* FRST Interior
* K+N Panel Filter y0

And a full system which consisted of

* Pioneer P6000h or something headunit
* Sony 140w 13cm door speakers
* Vibe 800w 6x9s
* 2 x 1000w amps
* Alpine 1000w sub
* DVD player
* 7" Pop out Screen

ah that was 4 years ago :thumbsup:

I had fun with a red top corsa in my fiesta. Was amusing as there was nothing between us, but in both case it was like 'WTF?'

Pulled into a retail park and thought it was funny to find we both had 2.0 conversion but we both thought the other was a 1.2 corsa and 1.4/1.6 si so we were both shocked.

But from a first car point of view those 1.2 12v engines give a good kick, there are basically 1.6's but with 3 cylinders. So better than your average small engine but really cheap to insure.
