MP3 and ATRAC are both highly reduced quality when compared with true hi-fi. Personally, I can endure the piss poor quality of mp3s when they're free and I burn CDs off. But I wouldnt pay for mp3s. I'll stick to my CDs for now  Unless I can get a boss deal when I swap over to Apple.

Ive used 14Gb of the 20Gb on mine, trust me when you stick it on shuffle you skip half the songs due to time of day or mood. |
