Went to see this last night.  And I have to say, I thoroughly enjoyed it! A hell of a lot better than the third installment (not difficult really), and it may just be because it's been shown a MILLION times, and I'm bored of it, but I'd say it's as good as Terminator 2. Christian Bale was excellent as John Connor, and some of the new robots you get to see were very well put together. Recommended

Hope I haven't built it up too much now  Just go in there, switch your brain off, and enjoy! There was one sort of "cop out" part, but I won't spoil it

Yeah we're going once it dies down a bit in a week or two. It should be good. I just hope they don't kill the storyline with something stupid in the mix. |

Well, maybe it's because it's been shown 800,000 times on tv and I'm bored of it I enjoyed it. It had more of the "classic" terminators, none of the remouldable T1000-esque terminators. |

Went to see this last night. Some good actions scenes, but for the most part i was tinkering on utter boredom throughout and Christian Bale was nowhere near as good as the other lead guy. It's like he was acting as himself or something. The attention to detail on the robots was pretty amazing, but little things like that don't save a film. Worth an Orange Wednesday if you've nothing better to do.

I have a an unlimited cinema card, so most films are a no brainer, just got to be worth my time. |

Naaaah I loved the cinematography of it all! Looked better and more "gritty" than any of the other films, and as you said the detail on the terminators and other robots was awesome!I was buzzin that night though so maybe that had an effect But I really did enjoy it. You gotta admit though, Termintator 2 is now boring as hell!

Maybe I should of been stoned watching it After a quick look though, I'm glad a lot of the film critics picked up on Bale's poor acting. Fi wasn't impressed that much, but more so than me, but she saw T2 for the first time about 3 months ago! I think the crunch was the predictable ending which Fi picked up on even before I did

Naah, I wasn't stoned or anything I mean on I was just on a hyper I didn't think Bale's acting was any different to any other film he's been in. He acted the same in Equilibrium, just this time he wasn't wearing fancy clean suits! I rated the film. Much better than the third. Just an enjoyable, switch you brian off and enjoy film, which they've all been! No brainers! None of them would ever be in my all time top 10 as they're not clever enough. Just blokey films!

Saw it the other week. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no.......just no!! The highlight was when the computer generated Arnie stepped out. Infact I think I may have even let out a little cheer  Maybe a good film in its own right, but if they didn't want it to be compared to the other films in the series, they shouldn't have tried to leach off the name. Whilst we're talking about killing a franchise.....I went to see the new Star Trek film with the old man when it came out. We're both big "trekkies" (we don't go to weird conventions with stupid pointy ears) but we're still loving Virgin 1's coverage on freeview. Original - Classic Next Generation - Ultimate  Voyager - Put a woman at the helm, and they get lost  Deep Space Nine - To boldly sit still and let everyone come to you  Enterprise - Meh. The trouble with any prequel  New film was just sh!t on sooo many levels. Hell Undiscovered Country (the fifth film, the sh!test one, the one directed by Shatner himself incase you were wondering) is amazing in comparison  BRING BACK PATRICK STEWART!!!! |

Highlight was Arnie? I did like that touch, but the cop out I thought was the fight at the end with him was just the same as the first film!I enjoyed it, I really did. I liked the fact we actually got to see what they talked about so much in the other films. I guess some people are stuck in the past with the older ones and won't allow new ideas thrown into the mix. It's a hard film series to follow and improve on, I admit, but to say it's shit is just being narrow minded. If it had been a standalone film, disconnected from the terminator brand, people would be raving about it. As it happens, T2 was on AGAIN the other night so decided to watch it again. Got bored halfway through as I've seen it soooo many times.
