Technically it would be an anniversary wouldn't it  Birthday would be registration date.Before anyone says it would be the build date lets call that the time of conception

I had my blue one for about 2.5 years before I got the Pulsar, and previously I had my black one for a couple of months before some old codger pulled out in front of me And I've had the Pulsar for 3 years now :O Christ that's gone quick! |

I believe that those who cycle through a ream of cars without sticking to just one, show a distinct lack of self confidence and were not nutured as a child. They show subtle cases of paranoia and pschizophrenic, psychological disfunction. Unable to find something they love, they try countless different options, as they are unable to make a choice and adhere to their decision. They lack the maturity of those who know what they want and when they get it, keep it. In order to satisfy their need for attention, they pounce from car to car in order to have a talking point when relating to colleagues, friends, and family, and become "known" as someone who "always has a new car, that kid!". This also shows the lack of direction in life, as a more prominent lifestyle choice would not need compensating in such a way. Ergo, someone who keeps a car for longer periods of time, because they know what they want when they go in search of it, show a greater level of intelligence, maturity, confidence, self esteem, life skills, and are just generally better people than you evil, dirty, car hoppers. Or something (btw - this is intended as some light hearted pisstake, don't take it seriously. The fact I write this is testament to the above statement though, as it shows that some people are very insecure and would take it personally)

 clearly i suffer  well 2 were Si's one with a knackered body one with a knakcered engine scrapped one put the engine in the other, found out the insurance was £2000 so i sold it

Now you see, when I'm looking to buy a car, it's never on a whim. I do my research, find out the insurance costs, and find out what to look for when buying. Then when I go to look at a car, I look at everything to make sure it's not going to cause me any problems. As I say though, when I buy a car, I buy a car I actually want in the first place...

well i found out it was £1200, which at 18 wasn't bad, but it was an "internet" price so wasn't fixed  and well i usually want my cars to. I had 4 before i passed my test! one failed its mot (mk3 fez) one had twin carbs so was sold (nova SR) then i got my green Si rep and while that was being done up i had a mint mk3 1989 1.4 to learn in i wanted the Xr3i cabbie. I even put up with the group 16 insurance at 19 but the winter made me hate it the old xr3i i really wanted, and really loathed selling.....i miss it still |
