well my "fiesta st" kept in touch with a clio 172 the other day and i was three up, but clearly it wasn't trying as its french  and zetecherb: he got a few replies along the lines of.....

i was surprised to be honest i thought he would piss off and leave the ST i know the ST isn't the fastest car ever, and it should be faster but i like it as a package, you lot may have different opinions  and clio cup: yeah that would win hands down easy

| not trying to preach the ST should have been the ST185 as standard. I respect clio's and french hatches, awesome handling cars i'd like a ride in the clio if its at sixfields

i must say i like the st. really am thinking about 1 of these to replace the fez as my road car. just love the look of them and there a good all round car too. i love them i wouldnt mind building 200bhp N/A type r killer st. |

without bias they are good to drive handling is amazing really, well fun pirellis aren't great though will be getting a different brand next facelift model ftw if you can or even if you get one As ford have greatly restricted the ST breathing mods are good a new flexi and a K+N can produce 165 bhp the Pumaspeed ST182 package gives 0-60 in 6.8 secs and 137mph 190 kit is around 6.3-6.5 i think, with a similar top speed Moutune kit is good, but bleeding expensive through ford! i know price wise they aren't cheap, but now my car seems clear of niggles (touch wood) its a blast
