Since last Tuesday, I've been off work after going in until 9am then getting sent home for chucking my guts up.

Since then, I've had all sorts of symptons, none of which were particularly nice. So on Friday enough was enough and off I trotted to the doctors. Explained all my symptons to the receptionist, and was told to take a seat. Within a minute a doctor came out to take my temp to make sure I wasn't going to die there and then. Anyways, turns out I had Meningicoccal Disease, which is effectively a viral meningitis! :hmm:

I never knew you could get a viral meningitis! Anybody else ever had this before? There's no cure for it, you just have to sit it out basically.

Since Tuesday I've had about 6 slices of toast until yesterday, but I've still got no appetite.

At least it isn't that swine flu that's starting to kill people around the world! :D

Anyway, just thought I'd share my weeks experience as I'm off work again and a bit broed now :lol:

I think I'm pretty much over it. Just needed that extra day off to make sure really. Need a day of having no symptons before I head back to work methinks. Yesterday was the best I've felt in a week, but still wasn't 100%.

i was in hospital for a week and was off work all last week with pretty much the same symptoms!!

I was in a lot of pain though and was puking blood at one point and they said it was "severe Gastritis" caused by "something viral"

strange.... back to wok tomorrow though!

I had a dream last night I was pregnant and they had to abort is as obviously I have no womb. It was growing at the bottom of my back and they gave me some pills to induce the labour and I shat out the baby out of the only plausible opening...I'd like to see some witty female in a magazine dissect that dreams meaning!

I laughed my bollocks off about Jeremy Kyle actually, some bloke had cheated on his missus and she stood up to have a go at him but was wearing some rather slippery shoes! She crashed to his knees with a massive thud, and tried to get up and have a go at him and stormed off crying :lol: Classic :lol:

Mole - same mate, I've had all sorts of symptons. Weird (different to any I've had before) headaches, stiff neck, vomiting, diahorrhea, stomach cramps, pain in my arms, nausia, blurred vision, the lot! Not nice, I tell thee! Like I say, didn't even know there was a viral meningitis! :nerd:
