but lets be honest guys, this is the exception to the rule, theres plenty of laws to stop this, they just need enforcing more

now i am by no means a vegi, but this actually made me feel sick to my stomach, these poor animals in this film undergoing so much cruelty, especially the pigs at the end, watch the vid and see for your self but trust me it will fill you with hate for these sick fookers. post what your views are on the vid. |

Everyone has the right to do as they please in regards to this but i couldn't go veggy, i need ma beeeeef! The process doesn't look nice, but im thinking if we were back in the ages, they would be butchered by man when theyre caught and eaten (stone age sorta way) and obviously tigers and lions scare theyre prey to death and go for babies cause they're weaker and then chase them and rip them to shreds literally and i can't help think Compared to what they would go through there in the wild it can't get much worse Just my 2 cents |

the fact of the matter is ok again im not going to turn veggie, but how do people get away with this, i mean come on slitting there throats while still alive, especially the pig at the end, it should be done humanely, either one shot to the head or having them put down, one of you mentioned the survival of the lions and tigers, last i looked were living in houses powered by electricity and not huddling around a fire, i mean how is this fair atleast free range get too have some life, most of these dont even go out side, there locked up 24/7 then slaughtered, surely there not put on this earth for this, ok we need food i get it, but id rather get my food from something that has atleast breathed fresh air, than something that struggled as it was dieing. |

the reason they are farmed so much is simple. cost. If we (as consumers) were willing to pay the increased cost of food for the animals actually being looked after properly then it more than likely happen. However as generally we try to save money where possible, the producers do the same to be able to have a competitive rate. |

Havent watched the vid, but I can guess what its all about, seen plenty of stuff like that. Yeah its disgusting and evil the way some animals are killed for us Humans. But FFS people wouldnt be winging about it when the day comes we have feck all food left in the world. Just eat it and STFU  We could always slaughter people on life sentences for food? And leave the animals to roam free??? I thought not. |

The animals don't know any better, its not like they were taken from a life of freedem and then shoved in a battery, born for one reason and one reason alone. No matter what animals will always be farmed like that as not everyone can afford to but Free range/oragnic food. I couldn't give a monkeys really, watch all them Kill it cook it eat it programs on BBC, had no problems with it. |

to be fair no its not very nice but as matt say's it will always be like this, your never get more veggies than meat eaters, its the way of life! the food chain. its just like saying its not fair feeding pet snakes live mice as there still alive when the snake digests them but everyone still does it. every liveing thing kills to live! |

Not everyone feeds snakes live food - I don't. Mine are fed frozen thawed mice which have been humanely put to sleep by gassing them. They've still been killed for the purpose of food, but they've not been thrown into the lions den for their last few moments of life. Too much danger for the snake if the mouse decides to claw back or bite it. As for the video in the thread, it's always going to be the same as has been said. I haven't actually watched this one, but if anybody seen the video of the KFC chickens, then you'd probably think twice about eating KFC. Me, personally, I still eat meat, and I always will. Just can't take away that need for meat.

Oi, git! But yeah, danger of infection, but because of external injuries, not internal. If the snake grabs the mouse in a way that the mouse can turn and either bite, or claw the snakes skin, then obviously there could be problems. So I personally don't see the point in risking the snakes health and vets bills, not to mention the stress that all this comes with, for the sake of feeding live food. Chances are the snake will be fine, it will catch the mouse and kill it before any damage is done, but why take the risk? Would you put razor blades round the side of a dogs bowl when you feed them? Chances are he won't eat them, but it's still an unneseccary risk.

as said i dont think the ways its done will change, and it wont stop me eating meat. i just wish it was done abit more humanely
