Another reptile, that is.  Last night we went to pick up a new addition - a Boa Constrictor!     She's only a baby at the mo, but she's so strong. She'll grow to about 7-10ft and weigh around 27kg's when fully grown! Just thought I'd share anyway! I know not everyone's cup of tea, but hey ho! So that's now a collection of: 2 Royal Pythons (male and female for breeding in a couple of years) 1 Bearded Dragon 1 Water Dragon 1 Savannah monitor 1 Boa Constrictor More to come soon no doubt

It's when they were sexed, all the females get dotted so they can be identified afterwards without stressing the snake!  She's a stunner though, really alert and active, gorgeous pattern, and a healthy size

Snakes get fed once a week, all different sizes now though! Loads of crickets, locusts, mealworms, waxworms etc. It's not cheap, but we buy in bulk online now so it's a lot cheaper than a petshop is!

Cheers dude! 3 snakes, 3 lizards! I think we're done for lizards as they take up too much room for the good lizards. Snakes however, we've got a few to go yet

I got rid of my tropical fish as they were boring At least you can play with these Last night, I fed all 3 of the snakes - awesome to watch! Bunch of pansies

Yeah, she is! And so are our Royals! However, chances of any of them ever killing us are ridiculously slim! This new one will have more of a chance, but she's so timid I seriously doubt she'll even strike at us yet alone try and kill us

When we're holding them, they squeeze as a matter of course to get grip, so you can feel their strength. For the size of them, you would not beleive how strong they actually are! Wait until she's 10ft It's just a matter of taming them to be used to human contact and that you aren't there to hurt them, and they're soft as anything! The royals are a bit dippy, but very friendly

| Nah, honestly, they are the softest animals! You really wouldn't believe the things they do, they way they are, the characteristics they have. It's quite weird actually, I never thought they could be so diverse! Every snake we have, when you get them out and hold them, they'll come up to your face and have a sniff about then bugger off, it's like them saying hello! Except the monitor lizard, he's a bit of a mental one.

When Kobi (the Savannah Monitor) is bigger, we will be bringing him to sixfields in the summer By then he will be really tame (we think )He will only be about this size:
